So this week ahead is looking full, full, full of lovely fun casinos. Some are purely wedding
entertainment, some are for corporate functions and some are fantastic
fundraising events! We’ll be spinning our Roulette balls and shuffling our Black
Jack cards all over the UK keeping guests and clients entertained.
In a months’ time, we are providing fun casino entertainment
for a super charity, raising money for MS.
We’re sponsoring this event and will be taking some tables and some VIP
room dressing along to add a bit of glitz and glamour. Pop back soon to find out more on this one...
Fun Casinos work brilliantly for all sorts of charity events
and fundraisers. Here are some tips and tricks you might find useful;
How it works for charity;
Once the tables have been booked for a ‘per table’ fee, we
bring them along to your event, set them all up and wait for your guests to
arrive. We’ll agree with you how much to
‘sell’ chips for, we say £1 or 50p per chip works well, or you could do
something like £1 for 5 chips. The more straight-forward the system, the easier
it is for your guests to get involved.
Guests give the croupiers at the tables however much they
want to put in the charity pot and are given chips to play with in return. When they are finished at that table or want
to have a break, they simply cash in their chips for some of our fun money,
which allows them to come and play again a bit later on.
In order to create an incentive for your guests, it’s a
great idea to put up a prize for the winner of the casino / person with the
most chips at the end of the evening.
The bigger the prize (if you can get it donated, even better) the more
incentive people will have to spend!
The tables that work well on this system are;
·
Black Jack
·
Stud Poker
Our Wheel of Fortune is a great game to run for charity as you can run
it slightly differently to the other tables. It’s often run as a
completely separate table where guests pay to play per spin, say £2/£3 per
go. The wheel is spun and whoever wins on that spin immediately gets to
pick a prize from the prize table. This is great if you have lots of
little prizes, perhaps relating to the charity to give away.
It sometimes nice to give guests a few ‘free’ chips as an incentive to
play on the tables initially. We would
advise against this and this is simply because, you will have too much ‘free’
money in the room and no one will have the need to spend. If you would
still like to give a little something back to your guests and get them started
on the casino, this is complet
ely fine, we would suggest no more than 2 or 3
chips.
Give us a call if you’re organising your own
charity fun casino night or any other event for that matter!
